Two ingredient flatbread
Using only two ingredients, you can make wonderful breads to enjoy with dips or use as a base for pizzas and kebabs. Yum! If you don’t have any self-raising flour, use plain flour with a teaspoon of baking powder.
Ingredients
- 250g self-raising flour
- 120ml water
Method
- Add the flour and water to a large bowl and mix into a dough. Make sure you don’t overwork the mixture as it won’t rise.
- Tear off 4 balls of dough and on a floured surface, using the palm of your hand, flatten out the bread bases until they’re 1cm thick
- Over a medium heat, pop the flatbreads into a frying pan and cook for 3 minutes on either side. Cooking two at a time works best.
- Once they start to colour and puff up, cook them for a further 3 minutes on either side on a low heat.
