Make your very own breakfast hash!

So here is an awesome easy breakfast hash recipe, which is perfect for any lay about Saturday morning, and just to add, chips are optional! This is a recipe we created and styled for one of our clients Aviko and it’s a bit of a regular in my house.

Serves 4


  • 2 tbsp olive oil, pus extra for drizzling
  • 25g butter
  • 6 rashers of streaky bacon
  • 8 slices black pudding
  • cracked black pepper
  • 8 mushrooms sliced
  • 2 tomatoes sliced
  • 4 medium eggs fried
  • A tray of rustic chips (optional)


  1. Put the olive oil in a large frying pan over a medium heat and add the bacon and black pudding and continue to cook until they both go slightly crispy.
  2. Remove the meat and cook the mushroom and tomato slices.
  3. Fry the eggs in a separate pan.
  4. Have the cooked chips ready and mix through the breakfast ingredients with the chips and arrange on the plate.
  5. Top with the fried eggs and dig in!
